About | Marianne holds a Master’s degree in Tropical Land Use from Wageningen University & Research. She began beekeeping about 10 years ago and currently works as a policy adviser on biodiversity and bee health for the Dutch Beekeepers’ Association. Her key areas of interest include bee nutrition, pollen, the relations between honeybees and wild bees, Asian hornet (Vespa velutina), and overall bee health. Marianne is especially interested in bridging the gap between scientific research and practical applications for beekeepers. |
