About	Involved in bee research, beekeeper training and extension. Published in peer reviewed journals on topics such as honey quality, propolis, royal jelly, honeybee pests and diseases, pesticides and pollination. Have been involved in implementing community beekeeping projects in East Africa, North Africa and Near East (Yemen). Currently a senior lecturer of Entomology at South Eastern Kenya University.
