About | I am a molecular ecologist working on the Irish National Apiculture Programme. This project aims to investigate the relationship between honey bee colony losses and different stress factors, including all common pathogens and pesticides. In addition I will be conducting greenhouse climate change experiments with different genetic strains of honey bees. My general research interests include speciation, island biogeography, network ecology, biodiversity monitoring and behavioural ecology. |
